REIGNITE NZ Mission Statement Update ReigniteNZ was officially registered as a company in May 2020. The sole objective at that time was to reintroduce a NZ national branding logo and slogan to clearly identify kiwi-made products and services as being locally made, as used to be the case with the government-funded “Buy NZ Made” campaign. This was killed off approximately 12 years ago. While many local companies do clearly identify their product as NZ made, there are many that do not. The country of origin (NZ) can only be found in the fine-print. Given that most New Zealanders prefer to buy locally

made products/services in the post Covid climate which is making surviving in virtually any business, challenging to say the least. All necessary literature, documents and procedures are in place. At last, after three failed attempts to establish a website, we now have a basic site live. It is and will be an ongoing “Work in Progress”. In regards to funding for working capital, we have, in the past approached various government agencies with zero success, despite the fact they were all made totally aware that, in again introducing a “national“ brand, would be positive for the NZ economy. While government assistance may still occur at some future point in time, we will pursue independent business ventures, to generate the necessary funding for working capital, marketing an all other outgoings. At present, we have no fixed overheads. Pete, founder and at present, sole director of ReigniteNZ is not drawing any income from work to date (thousands of hours invested in setting up, networking and planning) for what is now our imminent launch. While we still have a few boxes to tick, funding and staffing is now our top priority to move ahead. Our logo has been redesigned over the last 4 months and has huge potential to become a Kiwi Icon. However, in order to be nationally recognised, a comprehensive marketing and education campaign will need to be launched. While some media may discount their fees for promoting the concept of a national brand, funding will be required well into six figures, maybe even more. We are, however, light on our feet, resilient and totally passionate about our crusade to assist the NZ economy, which has suffered immensely over the last 36months, for reasons we are all only too well aware of. Despite scores of setbacks to the founder over the same period, including two major health traumas, being homeless for over a year, not to mention Covid restrictions, we are determined more than ever to succeed in our crusade, with or without government assistance. If you are able to assist us in any way, please feel free to contact us at: Email: reignitez.com or Phone: 022 152 5599 (+64 22 152 5599) Regards Pete Vinkenvleugel Founder, ReigniteNZ

Reignite NZ
Kiwis Supporting Kiwis

Central to the ReIgnite NZ campaign will be the above logo which will appear on all goods and services produced in NZ with the companies that decide to join the crusade. Our objective will be to gain the support of 30% of New Zealand businesses in the first 6 months of operation and 80% plus after 12 months. The initiative has been set up by a handful of passionate Kiwis, who are business experienced, mostly self employed or semi-retired. Our combined passion to fulfil the above objective will drive ReIgnite NZ to make a positive and lasting impact on NZ employment levels and at the same time further improve our trade balance with the rest of the world

We are determined to remain lean and mean with as lower overhead as possible. ReIgnite NZ will initially operate from a modest existing IT office in Auckland and employ 3-4 full time personnel in the short to medium term with contractors assisting with any peak overloads to maintain timely response time.

Finance

Income will be derived from client donations, grants and income from merchandising Reignite promotional material and from licensing fees. Pete has also recently released a awesome self help book entitled-

HOW TO SURVIVE THE NEW ABNORMAL.

he thought it best to publish it under a pseudonym.

                                  MAVERICK

His book is devoted to all those that want or need help as they negotiate all the complexities  as they travel through their lives.

The book has hundreds of strategies to navigate through almost any crisis that may or may not confront you.

The majority of the proceeds of the book will be channeled into making ReigniteNZ functional.

Vision
preview.jpg

To educate NZ consumers of the benefits of “buying NZ” consumables and services by identifying the product/ service as being locally produced via the logo and customised slogans. In achieving the above, employment will improve, participating businesses from small to medium enterprise to larger corporations, will become more viable and taxation revenue will improve.
